Your Three Guiding Lights

Training my client today I was reminded of a key cue I used to share to help my clients maintain physical posture as well as spiritual posture.

Utilize your three lights.

  • The light of your Belly Button
  • The light of your Heart
  • The light of your Third Eye

The Belly Button was easiest for them to capture.  Belly Buttons usually do not have a story attached to it.  You can tell if it is pointing up or down. You can put your finger on it as a guide.  Allow your belly button light to shine the way in front of you.  Slouch and you close this light.  Arch and it shines into the sky.  Shine it straight ahead! At a spiritual level, we are teaching one to become able to trust their gut.  True spiritual gut, not a conditioned one.  Many of us have experienced bypassing our gut instinct due to situations by conforming to societal norms and authority.  We quiet and ignore it.  Next thing we know we are not living to our convictions nor our true self.  So allow your belly button to brightly shine upon your path so you will not trip or miss an important turn because it was off shining elsewhere.

Then you have your heart light.  Allow your heart to follow the same rules of the belly button. If your heart is down it closes love and if too high you look like a super proud peacock. Keep it straight ahead. If your heart is pointing down we acknowledge you may be feeling sad or heartbroken. Allow it some space to do a simple job of lighting up your path beyond the belly button light. Now you can see the path just beyond your footsteps. Your Belly Button is the closest light and heart light shines just beyond it. On a physical plane, the length of space between your two lights supports strong posture and great spine mechanics. A heart that shines straight forward gives room for your lungs to work at their fullest. Remember Love knows no fear. So lift up your heart to lighten the path in front of you so you may see any upcoming turns or obstacles.

The last light is that of the Third Eye. I call it the most important light as it shines the farthest beyond your gut and heart lights. This forehead light when pointing forward pulls the rest of your spine into alignment, fuels your brain with blood and provides proper drainage of your sinuses. The spiritual side is your vision. How far ahead can you see? Some people see complete with details, while others see by how the vision feels. If your head is pointing down and shinning on the belly button or heart light they  may need some adjusting. Take the center of your forehead and imagine that light beam.

To summarize, your belly button light are your fog lights. Your heart are your headlights and your Third Eye are your high beams. When all in alignment, we know can see where we are going!

May your light shine bright, your path be clear and full of blessings.

In love and light,

Good Job Triceps

Good Job Triceps! The body is so amazing. I adore its ability to hold and transfer energy having it be so graceful. Then you see it being so rigid and sputtery unsure of its next move. I believe the body sputters for two reasons. First, it is trying to learn a new neuro pathway of a skill. From piano to learning how to do a pivotal lunge requires great demand of control for desired length and depth. The key is the ability to safely return to start to repeat the action. This is an area I am very passionate about, and I will control myself not to go off topic. The second reason is that of pain or the fear of pain. We are in constant battle against gravity trying to take us down on every move. Our bodies work hard trying not to do so from the three arches in our feet to the three vestibular canals in our ears. Any threat to its safety generating pain triggers the fight, flight or freeze response. We are focusing on the freeze response. We hear a sound. FREEZE! What was that? OUCH! W...

outer space on my porch

So cool!  Looking into the sky at the moon & at Jupiter.  Saw Jupiter's three moons and the light bands of light around the planet. Seeing the moon and the topography on the edge. Amazing how the smart ingenious people were able to bring this space of awe to our fingertips.   So much to be grateful for. Wow! Namaste 🙏.  Godelieve

Tetherball mentality and beliefs

Recently I have been suffering from a groin strain from trying to pull start a lawn mower that didn't want to start. Pulling and tugging on that string on an ever resistant growing machine I had to lean on the husband and scream that we need a new machine this one is finished. He reminded me that it used to have a push start but I broke it. Mind you years ago. Humans are awful where we keep injuring ourselves and others with a story. The pain never goes away. It keeps repeating itself. Angry, knowing that I got hurt from trying to start the machine I knew it was going to be a long haul. I felt the tug. I felt the shoulder, ribs and spine yell that misery was on the way. He started the machine, after several yanks and I was off. Mad, frustrated and happy to cut the lawn for close to 3 hours. Disappearing to the sound and walking 5 miles on a one acre lot of land. I punched.  I spun and now idle against a cemented pole. I attended a 3 day virtual conference that challenged...
