Your Three Guiding Lights

Training my client today I was reminded of a key cue I used to share to help my clients maintain physical posture as well as spiritual posture.   Utilize your three lights. The light of your Belly Button The light of your Heart The light of your Third Eye The Belly Button was easiest for them to capture.  Belly Buttons usually do not have a story attached to it.  You can tell if it is pointing up or down. You can put your finger on it as a guide.  Allow your belly button light to shine the way in front of you.  Slouch and you close this light.  Arch and it shines into the sky.  Shine it straight ahead! At a spiritual level, we are teaching one to become able to trust their gut.  True spiritual gut, not a conditioned one.  Many of us have experienced bypassing our gut instinct due to situations by conforming to societal norms and authority.  We quiet and ignore it.  Next thing we know we are not living to our convictions nor our...

The Scent of a Kiss

The other day I was embraced in kiss. A kiss. The most sincere and action of love. A kiss can be one of the most intimate moments in life.  What makes it so? Embraced in a kiss I took a deep breath.  I love the scent of my husband.   Many times it takes me back to a time when I took a trip with my two small boys to Minnesota to visit some friends. His scent.   Ever notice that just before you offer your lips in a kiss you take that breath in.  The breath of that person's scent. The scent of your dog, cat, horse or pet.  The special scent of a baby.  It doesn't matter for it can be your favorite stuf...

One Very Happy Hour

One Very Happy Hour The day finally arrived!  Several years ago my husband and I were invited to stay with some friends in Vermont. They skied and we snowshoed Bromley Mountain. We had so much fun snowshoeing the woods between the ski trails. A feeling memory that needed repeating. I found some basic snowshoes and poles Christmas shopping several years ago. I put them under the tree. My husband was surprised. I was gitty. I put them in the garage waiting for a good snow.  Winter came. Winter left. Winter came. Winter left. Then maybe another? Not sure. The winters didn't drop enough snow except to shovel the driveway, or it was rain, sleet or just plain gross.   I would go into the garage. Look at the snowshoes. Release a big sigh. Why did I even bother. Then snow was in the forecast. Nothing to get thrilled over. It snowed for 2 days with at least 15 inches with no gross weather attached.   My heart beat a little faster.  I felt like a total kid. I hu...
